Online advertisement is a hugely important multi-billion dollar industry which is heavily based on analysis of huge data sets. Most innovations in this fast-growing area are made in the US but Europe is also trying to be among the frontrunners in this area.

Currently, the following topics are planned as the main topics to be discussed at the workshop:

  • Models and algorithms for adaptive targeting in online advertisement,
  • Real-time bidding algorithms,
  • Feature selection in linear and logistic regressions with large number of factors,
  • Data management platforms and their effective use,
  • Effectiveness of advertisement in different categories,
  • Buyer behaviour online.
